All these communication support workers assist in the aid of communication between both hearing and d/Deaf people. Deaf and deaf blind people have the right to communication in their own language.  BSL/English Interpreters are trained to interpret between BSL (British Sign Language) and English.  Those deaf people who rely on lip reading will need a lip speaker.  All Interpreters must follow Code of Conducts set for the Profession.
